I am a Textile Design graduate specializing in embroidery. I use my strong technical ability to work as versatile designer with fresh and innovative design ideas.
I am passionate about using hand processes to create my textile designs with intricate detail, this is demonstrated though delicate hand embroidery alongside digital stitch and hand dying processes. I value traditional hand crafts and enjoy the challenge of using these skills to produce exciting contemporary collections.
In addition, I am a keen hand knitter regularly setting myself mini projects to design and create products whilst learning new knit processes.
I am interested in photography, often taking photographs as a hobby and using Photoshop to experiment with and adapt on images. This has aided in various textile projects I have done.
